Synopsis:

Tommy Hogan is an old football hero in Milltown. On the day of his great victory 35 years ago, Tommy suffered a head injury that changed the course of his life. Ever since, Tommy’s been working in Dickie Simpson’s Pub, sweeping floors and waiting patiently for Andrea, his old high school sweetheart, to return.

On July 4, there is a party – the Milltown Centennial Birthday Bash. When Tommy discovers that Andrea is back in town for the celebration, he decides to make his move. But an old rival humiliates Tommy in front of Andrea, then challenges him on live TV to a “charity” boxing match to settle the score from 35 years ago. Tommy takes the bait. He decides that the only way to win Andrea’s heart is to accept the fight and “be the man he always wanted to be, but never got there.”

YO ANDREA is about resilience in the face of heartbreak.

It’s about second chances, and the risks taken for love.
